Our Manufacturing & OpEx Intelligence Team is supporting the operational divisions and central functions with global data around Manufacturing, Asset Effectiveness and provides the required transparency for BASF production. This data is the essential part of all improvements of our manufacturing processes.

You are heading the holistic data analysis and initiate improvements of data quality in core systems. Your tasks include preparation of a wide range of data, creation of statistical analyses, selection and training of machine learning models and their evaluation.

 You initiate and drive the data mining activities based on our ERP and production data and transform them into meaningful structures.
 You work in cross-functional projects at the interface between manufacturing and engineering, understand data workflows and build a reliable data foundation.
 You work with state-of-the art data science frameworks, develop new algorithms, and create solutions for our internal business partners.


 A university degree in the field of Natural Science, Engineering or Mathematics or other subjects, such as business informatics, industrial engineering, or other comparable education.
 Minimum 3 years’ related working experience
 Experiencing Agile way of working or agile implementation approach
 You have in-depth experience in data analysis, data management, security, visualization as well as in consulting for business stakeholders and have practical experience in the field of data analytics, data science, data mining or machine learning.
 Nice to have: experience in project management
