Responsibilities Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines for ingesting data from various sources, including clinics, pharmacies, and pharmaceutical manufacturers.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.Develop and implement data models, schema designs, and table structures to support various data needs, including formulary management, inventory tracking, and patient impact analysis.Ensure the quality, accuracy, and completeness of all ingested data.Monitor data pipelines for performance, identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations.Work closely with analytics teams to provide clean and accessible data for reporting and insights.Implement data governance best practices and ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations.Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Additional Preferences Preferred Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree in a relevant field HIGHLY preferred.5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on data ingestion, pipeline development, and data warehousing.Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.Proven expertise in designing and implementing data structures, creating tables, and optimizing database performance.Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).Experience with real-time data streaming technologies.Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related data services.Strong programming skills in at least one relevant language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala).Experience with ETL/ELT tools and techniques.Solid understanding of data governance, data security, and data quality principles.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
