Job Title: Senior Data Center Architect

Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of data center design and construction, ranging from site due-diligence and feasibility studies to overseeing detailed design and project execution. The role requires delivering creative and innovative design solutions that align with client requirements, from concept through project handover. The candidate should be capable of managing large, technical projects, demonstrating experience across all work stages and design processes. This position demands strong commercial awareness, good discipline, and the ability to work independently on a variety of projects or multiple tasks concurrently.

ResponsibilitiesDeliver comprehensive design services and innovative solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements from concept to project handover.Manage and deliver large technical projects with experience in all work stages and design processes.Work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple projects or tasks concurrently.Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to produce fully coordinated project information and deliverables, including BIM models, drawings, schedules, and specifications.Communicate effectively with clients through project-related correspondence, presentations, and technical reports.Build and lead teams in non-project activities and initiatives that support the growth of the team.Develop client relationships around project and non-project related activities.Initiate opportunities for internal and external activities to enhance the team's profile and visibility in the industry.Contribute to lasting positive change for clients, stakeholders, and communities.Understand and apply project standards and processes.Demonstrate proficiency in Autodesk Revit software.Promote and implement Health & Safety awareness in day-to-day project activities.Essential SkillsRegistered architect with architectural design and project management experience.10+ years of experience in the field.Led minimum 2-3 data center projects from design phases to completion.Experience leading teams, working with clients, and running presentations.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.Proficiency in Revit and knowledge of Ontario and National Building Codes.Additional Skills & QualificationsIn-depth knowledge of the National Building Code, Ontario Building Code, and International Building Code.Experience with delivering sustainable buildings.Familiarity with the Science, Industry, and Technology sectors.Project Management experience or certification.Work Environment

The work environment is hybrid, with an expectation for leaders to be in the office a minimum of three times a week. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
