TheSenior Data Architectis responsible for developing data warehousing blueprints, evaluating hardware and software platforms, and integrating systems. Duties and Responsibilities: + Work in a data warehouse environment, including data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository creation. + Evaluate the reusability of current data for additional analyses. + Translate business needs into long-term architecture solutions. + Define, design, and build dimensional databases. + Conduct data cleaning to rid the system of old, unused, or duplicate data. + Review object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access. + Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 8+ years of experience + IBM Certified Data Architect, AWS Certified Big Data – specialty or industry equivalent certification + DoD 8570/8140 IAT-II compliant + TS/SCI clearance required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: + Experience developing and documenting database architectures via database architectural strategies at the modeling, design and implementation stages + Experience developing database solutions by designing proposed system; defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recovery + Experience with using ETL (extract, transform, load) best practices in the creation of the database + Experience determining database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming + Experience managing data structure at the design phase of SQL and Non-SQL database management + Experience executing projects/programs with similar requirements How you’ll grow At Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
