Senior Data Analyst

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Prepare and maintain the regular reporting, dashboards with conduct analysis, and market scenario modeling in order to provide the key decision makers of Philip Morris Ukraine with high quality and timely business information from different areas in a holistic manner, thus contributing to meeting the Affiliate’s sales volume and market share objectives.

OBJECTIVES:

Analyze data from internal and external resources and explore it for insights, use statistical methods to monitor consumer dynamics, trade channels, brand performance and efficiency to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of PMU and its brands, as well as potential development of our brand portfolio resulting therefrom and timely present actionable recommendations to management.Prepare & support regular dashboards using defined scope of information to represent data in a visual format that is easy to understand according to the agreed deadlines.Prepare ad hoc reports on demand using all available sources of information (“connecting the dots” principle)Ensure quick awareness of the key affiliate decision makers on the most significant competitive moves via an established process of competitive information collection from open sources and provide timely and holistic competitive analysis within the framework of milestone commercial processes.Propose and provide analytical insights on the efficiency of Company’s Commercial dataCollaborate with other members of the Commercial function in the execution of various tasks and projects and thereby optimize teamwork to ensure excellent internal communication and the most effective use of department resources in meeting priorities.

REQUIREMENTS:

Higher Education in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or related field3+ years of working experience as Data Analyst/Business Intelligence Analyst within large multinational company or leading international information services companyStrong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyStrong knowledge of and experience with databases (SQL etc.), designing and enhancing dashboards (Power BI, DAX), statistics and modeling (Python Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow libraries knowledge will be a plus)Experience working with Snowflake: writing queries, integrating with BI tools, and optimizing data processingPractical knowledge and application of Artificial Intelligence methods: machine learning, predictive analytics, natural language processing (NLP)Adept at queries, reports writing and presenting findingsEnglish: Intermediate
