CGI has an immediate need for a Senior Data Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest customers. • This role is located at a client site in Reston, VA or Plano, TX. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

We are seeking a seasoned Data Analyst with strong expertise in Python, SQL, and AWS to support data integration and analytics initiatives. This role involves gathering and analyzing user requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications, and collaborating with ETL teams to ensure accurate data loading and transformation. The analyst will also participate in functional design sessions, develop and execute test scripts, and help resolve data-related issues. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and a proven ability to work with complex data systems in a fast-paced environment.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS for data analysis and cloud-based operations
• Strong grasp of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical ETL and database specifications
• Experience creating source-to-target mappings and documenting business processes
• Solid understanding of database querying and optimization
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Mercury Quality Center or HP Quality Center is a plus
• Professional certifications in data analytics, cloud technologies, or software development are desirable
• Minimum of 10 years in software development or data analytics roles, with experience handling projects of similar scope and complexity
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $85,100.00 - $137,100.00.
