We are seeking a seasoned data professional with deep expertise in interpreting complex datasets and driving strategic insights across AT&T’s business landscape. This Dallas-based role demands a strong understanding of the data behind our products, segments, channels, volumes, and revenue—and the initiative to translate that understanding into meaningful business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Expertise & Business Insight:Serve as a subject matter expert on AT&T’s business data, including product performance, customer segments, channel activity, and revenue trends. Use your experience to guide leadership decisions and shape long-term strategies.Strategic Analysis & Interpretation:
Lead efforts to analyze and interpret data from diverse sources, applying advanced analytical techniques to uncover patterns, risks, and opportunities. Your insights will inform sales, marketing, and commercialization efforts.Documentation & Knowledge Transfer:
Develop clear documentation of data definitions, business logic, and analytical frameworks. Create reference materials that support cross-functional understanding and enable repeatable, scalable insight generation.Autonomy & Leadership:
Operate with strategic autonomy, managing high-impact projects and influencing executive decisions. Mentor junior team members and collaborate with senior leadership to align data-driven initiatives with business goals.Initiative & Problem Solving:
Take ownership of complex business problems, proactively researching and resolving data issues. Demonstrate initiative in identifying gaps, proposing solutions, and driving execution within tight timelines.
Preferred Skills:
Deep familiarity with AT&T’s business data and how it supports decision-making across functions.Strong analytical acumen and experience with statistical quality procedures.Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.Experience working with data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or similar.Understanding of macroeconomic factors and their correlation with internal performance trends.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Scientific Computing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).5+ years of professional experience in data analysis, strategy, or business intelligence.Recognized for resolving complex issues and leading strategic initiatives with minimal oversight.Location Requirement:
This position is based in Dallas, TX only and requires full-time in-office presence (5 days/week).Our Senior Data/AI Engineering, earn between $130,700 - $196,100. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
