Join us. **Job Description** AECOM has an immediate opportunity available for a Senior Dams Engineer (RCC) for employment in Panama City, Panama. The responsibilities include but are not limited to: + Conceptual to detailed design of water dams, retarding basins, service basins + Perform as Capture Manager for pre-positioning and preparing proposals + Inspection, investigation and condition assessment of existing dams including review and surveillance of monitoring data. + Perform Alternatives Analyses, Feasibility Studies, and Detailed Designs with strong knowledge of design drawings and technical specifications. + Keeps informed of new developments and requirements affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes in programs and applications. + Conduct potential failure mode analyses and risk analyses for water storage and hydropower dams, including identifying and developing potential failure modes, and serving as Independent Consultant or Facilitator in risk analysis workshops. + Client liaison and experience with technical review boards. + Project management of multidisciplinary teams and the engagement of AECOM’s operations/finance teams + Mentoring and technical development of junior staff, supporting them to achieve technical success + Makes decisions independently on technical problems and methods, and represents the organization in conferences to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate work. + Supervision received is essentially administrative, with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits **Qualifications** Minimum Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field + 10 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education + Experience with Roller-compacted concrete (RCC) for construction or repairs + Relevant experience with Dam projects including inspection, rehabilitation and/or new design and construction. + Experience in performing inspection, design, and/or engineering activities in dams or water retaining structures + Bilingual – English and Spanish Preferred Qualifications + 15 years or more experience including relevant experience with Dam projects including inspection, rehabilitation and/or new design and construction. + Excellent interpersonal skills, staff supervision, strong negotiation skills and conflict resolution abilities + Excellent written communications and presentation abilities in internal project settings with the project team, external project stakeholders, and leadership. **Additional Information** This job application is for future opportunities without immediate urgency. **About AECOM** AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
