Responsibilities:
Develop and implement cycle count schedules and procedures to ensure comprehensive inventory coverage. Oversee and coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly cycle count activities. Analyze cycle count data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Monitor and track cycle count performance metrics, identifying and resolving any issues. Provide leadership, guidance, and training to cycle count staff. Supervise and evaluate the performance of cycle count team members. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Schedule and assign work to cycle count team members. Conduct in-depth investigations into complex inventory discrepancies. Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring discrepancies. Work closely with other departments to resolve inventory issues. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory records in the ERP system. Review and approve inventory adjustments based on cycle count results. Implement and maintain inventory control procedures Generate and analyze comprehensive cycle count reports. Prepare and present reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements. Assist with audit preparations. Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance cycle count efficiency and accuracy. Implement best practices for inventory control and cycle counting. Assist with ERP system improvements relating to inventory control Ensure all cycle counting activities are conducted in a safe manner. Ensure all team members follow all safety procedures. Work in compliance with ISO 14001 and 45001 StandardsQualification Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field (preferred). Knowledge of cycle counting procedures and inventory management principles. Proficiency in using inventory management systems and barcode scanners. Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience and Skills Requirements:
Significant experience (5+ years) in warehouse or inventory management Strong technical skills and background (mechanical, electrical, etc.) Strong motivational and empowerment skills in the team Strong communication skills: fluent French and English speaking, writing and reading. Knowledge of Lingala and Swahili is an addition to the profile Strong relationship and management skills Excellent computer skills Share knowledge with workmatesWhat We Can Offer You:
