Koniag Management Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) initiatives. This role will support critical cybersecurity programs across the several bureaus at our Government Client.
**Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:**
The Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager will oversee and coordinate the implementation of ZTA and CDM programs, providing technical leadership and project management expertise. Core responsibilities include:
+ Lead technical implementation of CDM/ZTA phases across DOC bureaus
+ Create and maintain executive-level documentation, metrics, and dashboards
+ Coordinate and facilitate working group meetings
+ Manage license tracking and associated costs
+ Develop system architecture alternatives considering security, functionality, and cost
+ Oversee technical and administrative personnel
+ Monitor project progress and ensure quality standards compliance
+ Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets
+ Generate comprehensive documentation including tables, briefings, and narratives
+ Provide technical guidance on network architecture, data flows, and security controls
**Education and Experience:**
**Required:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field, OR 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity project management
+ Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience
+ Experience with federal IT projects and cybersecurity implementations
**Required Skills and Competencies:**
+ Strong knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture principles and CDM framework
+ Expertise in network architecture and security controls
+ Proficiency in hardware/software asset management
+ Experience with vulnerability management and access control systems
+ Strong project management and team leadership skills
+ Excellence in creating executive-level documentation and metrics
+ Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
+ Strong technical writing and presentation skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
+ Knowledge of federal IT procurement processes
+ Experience leading technical teams and managing contractors
+ Secret security clearance required
**Desired Skills and Competencies:**
+ PMP or equivalent Certification
+ CISSP, CISM, or related security certifications
+ Knowledge of federal cybersecurity regulations
+ Familiarity with FISMA compliance requirements
+ Experience with performance metrics and dashboard creation
+ Prior experience with federal civilian agency IT modernization
+ Advanced degree in related field
