Primary Responsibilities:

Implement and manage macOS security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other cyber threatsConfigure and maintain the pf firewall to ensure robust network security and compliance with organizational policiesUtilize JAMF Pro for macOS device management, focusing on security configurations and compliance monitoringDeploy and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint to provide advanced threat protection and endpoint securityConduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential risksDevelop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices for macOS environmentsInvestigate and respond to security incidents, providing detailed analysis and remediation plansCollaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of security measures across all systemsExperience with network access technologies implemented on macOS: VPN, Cloud Access Security Brokers, Conditional Access, MFA

Stay updated on the latest macOS security trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve our security posture

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field7+ years of experience in macOS architecture and administration with a focus on SecurityExperience in macOS security principles and best practicesExperience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint or similar endpoint protection solutionsSolid knowledge of pf firewall configuration and managementProficiency with JAMF Pro for device management and security complianceProven excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProven solid communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholdersProven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation of security tasksExperience with mac Endpoints integrated in MS Azure environmentFamiliarity with other security tools and frameworks
