FDM is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer located in New York City to support a project in the finance sector. Involvement in this project is anticipated to last initially one year but may be extended.

This role will be hybrid with requirements to be in office 4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage secure access controls and privileged access solutions across hybrid environments. Support the hardening and ongoing security of Linux and Windows based systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Integrate identity and access management solutions with enterprise systems to support secure authentication and authorization workflows. Collaborate with infrastructure, compliance, and risk teams to ensure security controls meet internal policies and external regulatory expectations. Conduct architecture reviews and risk assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities. Develop and maintain detailed, audit-ready documentation for configurations, procedures, and security controls. Provide subject matter expertise during audits, incident response, and security investigations.
