Job Description:

   

Customer Advocacy and References Manager

The main goal of this role is to enable Sales and Marketing teams with the right customer references in Japan.

Global reference support for key HPE products and solutions.

In this role you’ll help our customers share their innovations and successes, and give customer proof to our messages to the market.

The ideal candidate thrives in an agile, virtual environment and has a passion for customers.

Responsibilities: 

Analyze reference nominations and make recommendations on how to deliver the best value based on customer preferences and goals, as well as HPE message, markets, geographies, and related budgets Develop strategies for integrated customer reference engagement plans that showcase customer success via a variety of deliverables including: written, video and peer-to-peer customer stories, quotes, business and technical case studies and slide-wareDefine and manage a streamlined process for building a pipeline of references that align to HPE brand and message priorities.Manage reference request fulfilment and tracking reference activity and outcomesProduce quarterly reporting and regular communications to stakeholders
Articulate the value of the program to a variety of internal and external stakeholder audiences, mostly using audioconferencingDevelop and secure stakeholder agreement for reference plans and budgets  Drive asset creation, working with both agencies and in-house resources Bring new ideas to the table – innovative, thoughtful ways to support our successful customers in ways that enable our Sales teams Leverage the entire team and its specialties to help increase advocate and reference engagement Understand all functions within Customer Advocacy and References so you can guide stakeholders to those who can best support a given need Work cross-functionally with sales, product marketing, product management and other teams in execution of reference plans  Identify processes that are more complex than they should be and propose streamlined alternatives

Education and Experience Required: 

·        BA or BS in Marketing or related field; 

·        10+ years marketing experience, including customer marketing, customer references or customer advocacy 

·        Agency, sales and/or channel experience a plus

Knowledge and Skills: 

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and JapaneseExcellent communication and negotiating skillsAbility to interface effectively with all levels of management and functional disciplinesKnowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and toolsProject management skillsUnderstanding of the IT industryExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to build, manage and influence virtual teamsStrong influencing and consensus-building skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously Conflict resolution skillsSocial Media savvyFinance savvyStrong sense of humour Ability to build, manage and influence virtual teams
