**Job Description:**
Senior Crisis and Risk Leader positions offered by Volvo Group North America, LLC (Greensboro, North Carolina). Coordinate delivery crises management and provide supply chain expertise to solve crises. Interact with different stakeholders (Purchasing, Logistics, Manufacturing, Engineering) to minimize the impacts to Volvo plants. Identify root causes of crises through deep dives and problem solving. Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve manufacturing processes. Coordinate communication with stakeholders in crises situations. Monitor high risk suppliers to prevent crisis at our operations. Contribute to the development and way of working within the team. Serve as a key partner of purchasing operations groups regarding supply chain-related issues.
**Minimum Requirements:**
Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field and 4 years of experience in supplier development, supplier quality, or supply chain in the truck or automotive industry. Also requires 4 years of experience: developing supply chains and managing crises; expanding on concise reports and communicating to stakeholders, top management, and suppliers; and applying lean manufacturing principles. Up to 50% domestic and international travel and ability to travel on short notice required. Experience may be acquired prior to completion of degree. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
We are offering a salary of $124,613 to $135,002 per year.

For this position, the base pay is set at $95,965 - $118,545 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
