Senior Credit Research Analyst, TMT

A bit about the job:
This is a credit research role with primary responsibility for providing in-depth critical analysis within the global TMT sector. You will support portfolio construction decisions across both investment grade and high yield credit markets, using your judgment and experience to generate trade recommendations across relevant portfolios. Knowledge of and experience in distressed investment processes would be desirable. You will work collaboratively with research colleagues across AI, fund managers and other AI research and strategy teams to formulate and underpin security selection recommendations.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Experience of investment grade and/or high yield debt capital markets from a buy side asset manager, sell side investment bank or rating agency.
TMT sector expertise preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of and experience in distressed investment processes would be desirable.
The ability to deliver high conviction investment opinions that contribute to superior, risk adjusted results
Experienced in developing and building relevant modelling tools.

In this role you’ll be ‘Certified’ under the Financial Conduct Authority / Prudential Regulation Authority’s Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR). This means that we’ll need to complete some regulatory background checks on you before you take up your role and we’ll need to ask you some questions on an annual basis to make sure you remain ‘fit and proper’ and competent to carry out your role. We’ll provide training on what holding a SMCR role means when you join us and annually thereafter.
