Basic Requirements: + Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school + Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar + Minimum of 8+ years of progressive legal experience, including substantial in-house or law firm counseling in the software, technology, or automotive sectors + Extensive experience advising on complex digital products, including connected vehicle platforms, mobile applications, and software-as-a-service (SaaS) offerings + Proven track record of strategic product counseling, guiding cross-functional teams through legal risk assessments, regulatory navigation, and business-aligned decision-making + Advanced knowledge of consumer protection laws, global data privacy regimes (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), intellectual property, and commercial transactions, with the ability to synthesize legal requirements into actionable business guidance + Exceptional communication and influence skills, capable of translating legal complexity into clear, compelling narratives for technical and executive audiences + Demonstrated ability to deliver pragmatic, forward-looking legal advice in fast-paced, innovation-driven environments, balancing legal risk with business opportunity + Strong leadership presence and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust, drive alignment, and influence stakeholders across a matrixed global organization + Experience managing or mentoring legal professionals, contributing to team development, culture, and operational excellence **Location: Hybrid.** This role is categorized as hybrid.
