Join us. **Job Description** **Senior Cost Manager (Defence Sector)** Are you a talented and ambitious Senior Cost Manager looking to work on exciting defence sector infrastructure projects that can change the world, projects that are always more complex and innovative than the last? We are looking for experienced Senior Cost Managers to support our exciting growth plans, working with our key defence infrastructure clients, particularly in the central belt of Scotland, supporting the successful delivery of their capital projects and programmes of work. You will be joining an established team of like-minded experts that have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions. As a Senior Cost Manager within our Infrastructure and PMO (IPMO) team, you will provide a comprehensive, accurate and value driven service for large, high profile and exciting key client within the water sector. The role also presents opportunities to work across other sectors including highways, power, and aviation sectors throughout the UK. The role will cover all aspects of cost management throughout the whole project lifecycle from initial inception / business case through to completion / commissioning. The role also provides the opportunity to support the growth of the business and management/development of team members within the Scotland team. **Here’s what you’ll do** + A minimum of seven years’ experience with a strong track record in the Cost Management/Quantity Surveying field, ideally working on large scale infrastructure or defence related projects. + Excellent working knowledge of NEC4 suite of contracts, particularly the Professional Services Contract (PSC) and Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) Options A and C + Experience of undertaking cost/commercial management as part of integrated, multi-organisation, collaborative teams + Experience of working within a client organisation, either directly or through a colocation/secondment arrangement would be of benefit. + Ability to identify and influence key client stakeholders, building effective relationships to grow workload/portfolio If you're passionate about innovation and turning bold ideas into reality, AECOM welcomes you.
