The Sr. Cost Accountant works directly with the Site Controller, Accounting Managers, and other managers to employ, define, and document best practice procedures for GSE and to improve the Cost Accounting and General Ledger processes.
**YOUR IMPACT**

+ Drive and use best practice skills in Cost Accounting and General Ledger accounting, define processes, document processes, develop and follow Orlando SOX documentation & testing activities, coordinate cost and G/L related Orlando KPMG audit activity and aid accounting & other GSE personnel in the understanding of Syteline and enhanced uses of the Syteline business system.
+ Understand both Cost Accounting & General Ledger accounting principles and perform related activities in these areas with minimal supervision or training.
+ Manage financial transactions related to all departments including accruals, reconciliations, and expense classification corrections.
+ Manage and review activity within the plant manufacturing variance accounts, miscellaneous inventory postings, direct work orders, and cycle counting adjustments.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
+ Four (4) or more years of related experience in accounting, finance, or treasury.
+ Knowledge of GAAP and SOX requirements.
+ Experience with year-end audits, physical inventories, and cycle counting programs.
+ Excellent overall understanding of ERP systems and relational databases.
+ Good working knowledge of Bills of Material, Routers (Process Sheets), Work Order processing, Inventory and Production flow.
**STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS**
+ SyteLine/MAPICs experience.

**Pay Range:**
$82,000.00 - $132,800.00
The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
