Description Jamie Benway with Robert Half is looking for an experienced Senior Cost Accountant to join our team in Tualatin, Oregon. In this role, you will play a critical part in overseeing cost accounting processes, including job costing, inventory reconciliation, and the preparation of general ledger reports. Responsibilities: • Perform detailed job costing analyses during month-end processes to ensure accurate financial reporting. • Reconcile inventory records and ensure data consistency across various systems. • Prepare and reconcile reports to align with the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Collaborate with the accounting team to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records. • Monitor and maintain standard cost accounting practices to support organizational goals. • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other reports as needed. • Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements within cost accounting functions. • Support audits by preparing and providing necessary documentation and explanations.
