**Minimum qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 8 years of experience in computer architecture concepts, including microarchitecture, multimedia architecture, processor architecture and silicon design.
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
+ Experience in algorithms for the following areas: Camera ISP, Neural Network Processor Units, computer cores, and machine learning accelerators.
+ Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product Management, SoC architecture, IP design and verification, camera, video, ML algorithm and software development teams.
+ Experience in architecting and designing low power multimedia and machine learning hardware IP for SoCs in the following areas: Camera ISP, video codecs, display and machine learning networks.
+ Experience in micro architecture, power and performance optimization.
+ Experience in interconnect/fabric, caching, and security architectures.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Collaborate with Google research and silicon product management to help define the product roadmap for camera Image Signal Processing (ISP) and machine learning capabilities on a SoC for a variety of Google devices.
+ Partner with camera ISP and Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) hardware IP design teams across global sites to drive the hardware IP architecture specifications into design implementation for SoCs.
+ Engage with SoC and System/Experience architects on meeting dynamic power, performance, and area requirements at the SoC level for multimedia and AI use cases and experiences.
+ Perform detailed data analysis and tradeoff evaluations to improve our hardware architecture solutions.
+ Define and deliver the hardware IP architecture specifications that meet power, performance, area and image quality goals, which will require owning the goals through to tape-out and product launch.
