This is a senior level role responsible for developing the firm's largest and most complex omni-channel, audience-centric creative strategies and executions aligned to an enterprise-wide content strategy and informed by channel context \u2014 their compelling concepts, campaigns and messages help achieve business objectives and drive brand equity. Key to success is using insights, trends, craftsmanship and collaboration to make marketing creative that sparks behavior, changes perception, and makes a meaningful contribution to conversations in our industry. This role requires an expert communicator and practitioner of craft, who has a rigorous eye for detail, deep respect of strategy and nuanced command of tone and voice, and who can influence others, gain sponsorship from senior leaders and get buy-in from key stakeholders.

What you'll do...Lead end-to-end omnichannel creative strategies for the firm's largest, most complex efforts and brand initiativesPartners with senior firm leaders and matrixed teams to develop and execute strategic messaging, creative communication strategies, campaign concepts, tactical ideation, content execution, client materials and other deliverables that bring our differentiated brand to lifeLeads strategic messaging direction and/or verbal direction of content and campaigns, in collaboration with other creative and strategic partners; ensures approved strategy and creative direction remains intact throughout project\u2019s lifecycle.Making highly complex issues easily understood \u2014 in service of persuading audiences to think, feel or do something \u2014 by delivering world-class creative, from strategy all the way through to executionTranslating stakeholder needs into creative strategies and experiences that build brand equityDeveloping creative for different media and tailoring (or generating new) creative to fit channel-specific contextWorking in a team-based or matrix environment \u2014 sometimes with complex, changing dynamics and shifting priorities \u2014 to gain stakeholder input/approval and meet deadlinesCoaching others to ensure message, creative strategy and brand voice alignmentWhat you'll need...Bachelor's or Master's Degree6-10 Years Experience as a Copywriter or Lead CopywriterDeep understanding of channel best practices, including social media, websites, email, direct mail and digital mediaExperience with the following: Agency Management, Campaign Management and Optimization, Communication/Messaging Strategy, Content Development, Go-to-Market/Integrated Marketing Strategy, Marketing Analytics/Measuring Effectiveness and Omnichannel Management**Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.**


Current INTERNAL home-based associates: While this role is posted as hybrid, if selected and accepted, you may retain your home-based status. Edward Jones intends in good faith to continue offering the role as home-based, though future business or regulatory needs may require on-site work.
