**Senior Controls Engineer (Rockwell Automation)** + **Duration** : 6 months (Contract extension possibilities/ FTE potential) + **Work Location** : Hebron, KY + **Job Title:** Engineering - Engineer - Controls (Senior Level) + **Pay Rate** : Negotiable depending on DIRECT RELATED experience in minimum job requirements up to $80/hr. + **Type** : W2 ONLY contract (NO C2C OR THIRD-PARTY arrangements can be made for this role) + **Shift:** 8am - 5pm Mon-Fri + **Work Authorization:** Must be currently in the United States with active employment authorization documents without current or future need for H1B Transfer/ Sponsorship. **In this role, you will have the opportunity to:** + Lead project start-up, troubleshooting, and documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. + Design, program, and troubleshoot industrial control systems, including PLCs, robotics, servo controls, vision systems, HMIs, and AC/DC drives. + Collaborate with contracted equipment suppliers to design large scale automation equipment to be used in various BEC manufacturing sites. + Communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, mechanics and other plant team members to help facilitate the troubleshooting and repair process. + Create controls engineering standard work best practices to be utilized throughout equipment procurement, design, installation, and FAT/SAT process. + Responsible for ensuring PLC, HMI, machine vision, and motion control programming design deliverables from contracted equipment suppliers meet design deliverables. **The minimum requirements of the job include:** + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or applicable Mechatronics / Automation Engineering discipline + Rockwell Automation Logix 5000 PLC programming experience with ladder logic & structured text. + Vision programming experience in Cognex Insight Explorer + Experience with electromechanical systems including AC & DC motor drives, servo motors, HMIs, I/O hardware, and machine safety. + Good written and oral communication skills are essential, with an ability to distill complex technical information into clear, understandable formats for decision-makers. + Lead and participate in automation and equipment line debug while providing on-site installation and training as required by project specifications. **Important information:** To be immediately considered, please send an updated version of your resume to Deas172@kellyservices.com. **_*** (Kelly does not expense relocation/interview costs)**_** **Work Authorization** : Must be currently in the United States with active employment authorization documents without current need for H1B Transfer/ Sponsorship.
