Among Abbott Diabetes Care leading brands are the FreeStyle Precision, FreeStyle Lite and FreeStyle Libre systems. **This is how you can make a difference at Abbott:** As the Senior Controls Engineer you will address intricate problem-solving situations that may involve conflicting design specifications, the inadequacy of traditional materials, and the need for effective coordination. You will design, implement and maintain processes that help manufacturers increase productivity. If you could jut update these two sections in the current job ad with this: **Key responsibilities:** + Design and develop automation systems and processes to improve efficiency and productivity. + Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives. + Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for automation solutions. + Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of automation systems. + Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automation equipment and software. + Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. + Provide training and support to end-users on the operation and maintenance of automation systems. + Stay updated with the latest advancements in automation technology and industry trends. **Education and Experience:** + Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field. + Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in automation engineering, with a proven track record of successful automation projects in the medical device industry + Strong knowledge of automation systems, PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA systems. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens and Codesys software **What we Offer** Attractive compensation package that includes competitive pay, as well as benefits such as + Family health insurance, + Excellent pension scheme + Life assurance + Career Development + Fantastic new facility + Growing business plus access to many more benefits.
