**What you’ll do**
The Business Area Controlling (BAC) - Facility Controlling team has an opening for an Senior Controller who is passionate about the Facility Business and enjoys working with numbers to steer the business and help SAP reach its objectives.
The team supports Global Real Estate and Facilities, which is a global innovative and trusted business partner, developing and driving world-class workplace and infrastructure solutions. With growing numbers of employees worldwide, GRF develops new scalable workplace solutions to support SAP's growth. In this role you will join a global team where you will be responsible for the business units within APJ. You will gain experience in international facility topics and interact with senior leaders. Furthermore, you will be involved in driving different projects like accounting and strategic projects.
In this role, you will
+ Play a key role with holistic impact on SAP's financials supporting to manage 79 Countries, 205 Locations, 395 Buildings, and 1.7m square meters.
+ See the results of your work in external communications like SAP's annual report or the Capital Markets Day.
+ Take first-hand information and insights on changes in the ways of working
+ Partake in what IFRS16 really is about and how reinstatement obligations are treated.
Expectations and tasks:
+ Support the definition of KPIs as well as keeping track of the measurements to meet the requirements of the Location Strategy Program.
+ Business Unit Controlling:
+ Drive financial planning activities.
+ Perform month end closing activities, like accrual handling, cost accounting checks, cost allocations, etc.
+ Work out key messages from in-depth analysis and recommend action items to the management.
+ Ensure transparency and compliance with financial guidelines.
+ Support transformation / change in respective units to achieve financial targets.
+ Drive cross-unit activities, projects, and special tasks in cooperation within the team and with key stakeholders outside the team
**What you bring**
**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIE**
+ Graduate (Bachelor/Master). Business Administration with focus on Finance/Controlling would be a plus.
+ Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Innovative thinking, challenge complexity and show agility to change.
+ Ability to work under pressure and to cope with deadlines.
+ Self-managed working style with high customer orientation.
+ Advanced proficiency knowledge in MS office applications (Excel/PowerPoint)
+ Knowledge of SAP Controlling processes as well as SAP CO (ISP / BW)
+ Fluent in English (written & verbal)
**WORK EXPERIENC**
+ Min. 3 years of work experience in Controlling
+ Ideally the candidate has proven to successfully work in a global and virtual environment with peers, management, and customers

The Global Controlling, BAC team paves the way for scalable Controlling services. BAC helps managers across all board areas to steer their business with high-value business partnering. At the same time the team provides the foundation to support the respective Board Member and the Board Area leadership team. In this role, you will be working with teams around the world gaining experience in international business Controlling and getting deep insight into the finance organization and processes at SAP.
As part of the BAC, the Facility Controlling team is a cross-generational team consisting of eight employees located in Europe, Asia & US, working in a virtual collaboration.
