In the role of Senior Control Systems Designer, we'll count on you to:Participate in the design of complex supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systemsAssist with selection and specification of process instrumentation, control panels, and network equipmentAssist with development of biddable and technically accurate instrumentation and control system construction documentsAssist with the development of software applications for automation such as programmable logic controller (PLC) and human machine interface (HMI)Assist with system testing and commissioning activitiesPerform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and proceduresComplete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables.Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projectsGive direction to clerical and technical personnelPerform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringEngineer in Training (EIT) certificateCandidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progressionRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fieldSelf-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of a taskMicrosoft Office experienceMay need to travelAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
