Airswift is seeking a Senior Contracts Adviser – Corporate Services to support our client in managing low to medium risk contracts across a diverse Corporate Services portfolio. This role is responsible for delivering value focused outcomes across the full contracting lifecycle and operating independently within established governance frameworks, contracting guidelines and organisational policies.
You will work closely with a broad stakeholder group across functions such as Marketing, Trading & Shipping, Sustainability, Corporate Affairs, Legal, Human Resources, Finance and other business support areas. The portfolio covers service based, advisory, consultancy and corporate support contracts that directly enable core business operations and strategic priorities.
This role offers excellent exposure to varied commercial activities, stakeholder engagement and end to end contracting delivery.
Key Objectives Deliver end to end contracting activities across multiple Corporate Services categories Apply sound commercial judgement in sourcing, negotiation, execution and post award management Uphold governance, probity and ethical standards throughout all contracting processes Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers Support continuous improvement, value optimisation and proactive risk management Enable timely and effective delivery of essential corporate services Responsibilities Pre Award Activities Develop and execute sourcing strategies for low to medium risk Corporate Services contracts Prepare sourcing plans outlining scope, commercial structures, risks (including HSE), timelines and approval pathways Prepare and issue RFx documentation, and manage confidentiality and prequalification requirements Coordinate and document tender evaluations, including criteria, panel facilitation and recommendation reports Lead negotiations and contract execution within delegated authority Ensure alignment to category strategies and supplier relationship management principles Manage new sourcing events, renewals, retenders and extensions Post Award Activities Lead contract operationalisation and handover, ensuring clarity of deliverables and obligations Provide guidance to Company Representatives on interpretation and execution of contractual terms Manage contract amendments, variations, extensions and claims from initiation to approval Monitor contract spend, ceilings and commercial exposure, providing insights to support decision making Oversee supplier performance against KPIs, service levels and deliverables, resolving issues as required Lead contract close out and capture lessons learned Maintain strong and effective supplier relationships across advisory, consultancy and corporate support services Additional Responsibilities Identify opportunities for value enhancement, cost savings or process improvements Provide commercial insights and market intelligence to support planning and category strategies Support audits, assurance and governance compliance activities Conduct supplier due diligence including Anti Bribery & Corruption (ABC) and assurance checks Maintain accurate contract documentation, records and reporting to support compliance and decision?making Skills & Experience RequiredEssential:
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Law, Supply Chain or equivalent experience Proven experience managing contracts across the contracting lifecycle Ability to work independently within governed processes and frameworks Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and commercial acumen Excellent attention to detail, organisation, documentation and reporting skills Experience drafting and reviewing contracting documentation (sourcing plans, evaluations, approvals, variations) Strong analytical and commercial mindset Proficiency with contract management systems and business software Commitment to schedule, cost, quality and continuous improvement Demonstrated ethical conduct, accountability and adaptability
