Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Contract Administrator to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for all assigned contract administration functions. You will provide contractual, legal guidance to the project team. Responsible for protecting the company/Client interests in all contractual matters and ensuring policies are complied with as well as ensuring legal and contractual compliance in all contractual matters.

What You'll Be Doing:

Prepares and or assists in contractual correspondence with Consultants, General Contractors, and other vendorsInitiates, prepares, chairs, attends meetings with differing internal/external parties to resolve disputes and discuss contractual/legal issues and topics.Plans contract activities, including post-award schedules.Performs Contract Administration duties as required and participates in the post-award evaluation/negotiations.Drafts, reviews, and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards and project requirements.Maintains accurate records of all contract-related documents, including amendments, change orders, and correspondence.Ensures that all parties adhere to the terms and conditions of the contract, including timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Advises appropriate Manager on contractual matters and is the principal advisor at the Project level with regard to the strategy for, and the conduct and recording of contract modification/change negotiations, claims avoidance and conflict management.Serves as Coordinator of the Change for preparing, processing, reviewing the change requests prepared by others.Acts as a liaison between contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve any contractual issues or disputes.Identifies potential risks related to contracts and develops strategies to mitigate them.Monitors project budgets and expenditures to ensure financial compliance with contract terms.Prepares regular reports on contract status, progress, and any issues that arise during the project lifecycle. Assists in presentations to senior management.Performs other duties as assigned by the project Director and Commercial ManagerReviews, validates, endorses vendor invoicesMay Supervise, manage, and provide technical legal guidance to Contract AdministratorsReviews work of other consultants / contractors for quality, correctness and policy, procedural compliance and relevant law.Recommends new and revised policies and procedures.May participate in selection, training and evaluation of personnel.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management.15 years of experience in contract administration or management in the construction industry.Candidate should have knowledge and experience in standard forms of contract (FIDIC).Must be computer literate and skilled in the use of word processing, spreadsheets and other analytical software tools
