Senior Consumer Service Operations Professional

 The Senior Consumer Service Operations Professional is responsible for the daily activities across multiple service functions area. The Senior Consumer Service Operations Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The TRS of Ky onsite Senior Consumer Service Operations Professional may perform installation, implementation, client support, client services, client administration, customer service, enrollment and eligibility, claims processing, and call center operations. Investigates and settles claims and customer service issues. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.  **All responsibilities must be performed onsite at Public Education Employees Health Insurance Plan in Frankfort, Ky.   This is not a Work at Home position.

Required Qualifications

Prior experience working in healthcare industry2+ years experience with Employer/Group Medicare plansExtensive experience in a corporate service operations environmentDemonstrated ability to analyze information, research problems, and determine and implement solutionsAbility to multi-task and work in a very fast-paced environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills to include presentation skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop collaborative working relationships across multiple functional areas in the organization or with consumersConsultative skills which include ability to assess, understand the consumer and make recommendationsAbility to work independentlyComprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Word & ExcelStrong technical experience with ability to navigate multiple systemsAbility to travel up to 15% within the US

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degreePowerPoint and Access skillsOrganizational skills necessary to effectively manage multiple activitiesExperience with medical claimsMedicare experienceProject Management experience

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$59,300 - $80,900 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
