This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Amsterdam office.

What the day will look like
As Senior Consulting Actuary, you will:
+ Coordinate accounting for global pension plans for multinational clients, acting as the link between headquarters and local actuaries.
+ Manage international pension projects, ensuring deadlines, scope, and quality are met.
+ Connect with clients and internal collaborators about pension plans, risks, and optimizations, translating client needs into solutions.
+ Take ownership of existing contracts and client relationships, identifying commercial opportunities.
+ Expand the client portfolio by identifying and approaching new prospects.
+ Combine technical (actuarial/financial) and consultancy skills in an international context.
+ Build a network within Aon and position yourself as the go-to expert for international pension issues in the Netherlands.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ At least 5 years of proven experience in the pension market, preferably with international pension plans.
+ Technical expertise in actuarial calculations, pension plan accounting, and strong Excel skills.
+ Experience in consultancy, audit/accountancy, or a comparable financial role; actuarial background is a strong plus.
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse collaborators.
+ Project management skills to handle sophisticated client portfolios and deadlines.
+ Dutch language is a plus, but not required; international orientation is important.
+ Ability to work independently and proactively, as well as collaborate within an international team.
