Principal responsibilities

Participate in HASE IT Infrastructure DevOps Team: Collaborate with the Infrastructure DevOps team to provide support and advice on OS, middleware, database and cloud technologies across multiple projects and functional areas.
Design, implement, and maintain database systems to ensure high availability and performance.
Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Manage database security, backups, and disaster recovery plans.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize database queries and structures.
Support requests from internal teams, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and maintenance tasks.
Document database processes, configurations, and best practices.
Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered.
Stay up to date and maintain expertise in current tools, technologies, and areas such as cybersecurity, as well as regulations related to data privacy, consent, and data residency.
