The opportunity

 

As our Senior Consultant – Quantitative and Qualitative Researcher/Dualist, you’ll play a key role in delivering impactful research for commercial and government clients. You’ll work collaboratively across EY’s multidisciplinary teams, contribute to thought leadership, and help shape evidence-based decision-making through high-quality insights.

We’re looking for a research professional based in Warrang – Sydney who is curious, analytical, and ready to grow within a dynamic team.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

Support the delivery of quantitative and qualitative research projects from scoping to reporting, ensuring alignment with client objectives. Contribute to the design of research instruments (e.g., surveys, discussion guides) and assist in applying analytical frameworks. Translate data into clear insights and recommendations using appropriate analytics and visualisation tools. Build strong working relationships with clients, supporting senior team members in strategic discussions. Collaborate with colleagues across EY service lines to integrate research into broader transformation programs. Contribute to proposal development and thought leadership initiatives. Participate in internal knowledge sharing and capability development activities.

 

What we look for     

 

To be considered for this role you must have:

 

2–7 years of experience in market and/or social research, preferably within a consultancy or agency environment. Solid understanding of quantitative (and qualitative) research methodologies. Strong analytical and storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate insights effectively.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn. 

 

Experience working with digital research tools/platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, SPSS, R). Excellent communication and collaboration skills. A proactive mindset and interest in contributing to team development and client impact.
