Job Description: [MULTIPLE POSITIONS] Avanade Inc. seeks Senior Consultant Modern Workplace Engineers in St. Petersburg, FL to develop and modify communications and network solutions including desktop solutions, collaboration technologies, voice solutions and enablement of secure remote working environments. You will: apply your expertise in technical and consulting knowledge to advise clients on proper governance to ensure stability with a primary focus on Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365 & Power Platform capabilities and implementations in enterprise environments; work with clients to understand their business challenges and partner with cross-functional technology and design teams at Avanade to meet clients’ needs using the right combination of technology and operational guidance across hybrid communications environments; create project documentation, including architectural design, build, and operations guidance; conduct and oversee systems and component integration testing and user acceptance testing; and utilize and manage offshore resources, and occasionally manage project components and junior-level resources. Periodic travel to client sites (domestic and international) is expected up to 80% of the time. Must live w/in reasonable commuting distance of St. Petersburg, FL. Basic Qualifications: The position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related technical field, plus at least five (5) years of experience as a Senior Consultant Modern Workplace Engineer, or in a similar role in an IT or IT consulting capacity. A qualified applicant's experience must include: 4 years of experience architecting and supporting sales of Microsoft Modern workplace solutions spanning infrastructure platforms, applications, devices, security, data experience and business improvement; 4 years of experience developing/implementing Microsoft-based solutions and communicating and presenting information to technical and non-technical stakeholders; 4 years of experience leading, implementing, and deploying innovative, go-to-market strategies across large scale, services-based opportunities with service design, integration, implementation/transition, and lifecycle management including development of performance metrics spanning operations, experience and business value; 4 years of experience leading technical teams in end-to-end development of Microsoft 365 and Power Platform-based solutions; 4 years of experience with Workplace services strategy organization and operations consultancy knowledge; 4 years of experience with Web Technologies including AngularJS, JavaScript, jQuery, REST, EML, and/or XSLT; 4 years of experience with SPMT, Metalogix, ShareGate, Quest or other SharePoint migration technologies; and 4 years of experience with Waterfall, Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and SharePoint.
