Job Description & Summary
Join our digital transformation team at PwC, where you will help reshape how organisations use AI in finance, accountancy, reporting and compliance. You will combine GenAI capabilities with a strong interest in numbers, reporting standards, and regulation. Whether dealing with new frameworks such as CSRD and ESEF, transforming reporting processes, or supporting key events like IPOs, mergers or acquisitions, you will use AI to make financial and reporting processes smarter, faster and more reliable – and help clients build future‑proof, agile business models.
This is what you'll do
As a Senior Consultant – Digital Transformation: GenAI Implementation Consultant, you will work closely with finance professionals, data analysts, ERP specialists and business experts to implement AI solutions that add value to finance, reporting, audit and compliance processes. Your role is to ensure AI tools support daily finance practices effectively.
Your tasks include:
Automating and improving financial and non-financial reporting processes.
Embedding new regulations such as CSRD into existing systems.
Supporting controllers, auditors, and finance teams with AI-driven insights.
Designing and deploying AI automations to enhance reporting quality, internal controls and efficiency.
Acting as a bridge between technical AI teams and finance/stakeholders, translating needs and constraints.
Applying agile working methods and tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
Continuously learning and applying relevant business, accounting, finance, reporting and regulatory concepts.
You will work flexibly from PwC offices, client locations or remotely. PwC supports your growth with training and innovative tools, preparing you to become a trusted advisor at the intersection of AI and finance.
You recognize yourself in this

You enjoy working with AI, but you are equally motivated by well‑designed processes, clear and reliable reporting, and strong compliance. You like collaborating in multidisciplinary teams, solving complex problems, and presenting your insights convincingly to senior stakeholders.
You have:
Some experience with GenAI concepts such as RAG, agents and AI model integrations;
A master’s degree, for example in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Management, Data Science or another analytical field;
Clear affinity with Artificial Intelligence and data, preferably in a finance or reporting context;
A strong interest in finance, business, accounting, reporting and audit/compliance, and the ambition to deepen your expertise in these areas;
Programming skills that allow you to understand, test and adapt AI solutions and work with open‑source components;
Experience with version control systems such as Git and with agile methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps or Jira;
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills;
Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are an advantage.
