About the TeamWe are seeking a highly motivated Senior Consultant to join our Forensic team, aimed at providing comprehensive support to our audit teams across the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region. Our team specializes in assisting audit teams with both proactive and reactive issues encountered during statutory and financial audits. As part of our Forensic team, you will help deliver advice in financial, economic, and business matters pertaining to audits and investigations. As part of our team you will be part of our CEE Forensic Support to Audits Center of Excellence. You will be seated in Prague, Czech Republic but you will have an opportunity to cooperate with PwC colleagues in the CEE Region.
About Your ManagerSirshar Qureshi is the leader of the Forensic Support Center, bringing extensive experience in forensic accounting and audits. Under their guidance, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our audit teams and ensuring the integrity of our audit processes.
Job Description & SummaryProvide expert forensic support to audit teams, addressing proactive and reactive challenges related to financial audits.
Assist in investigations, applying your knowledge of forensic accounting principles and methodologies.
Support the development and growth of the Forensic Support Center, helping to build and enhance our practice.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with relevant stakeholders, enhancing collaboration and fostering strong working relationships.
Apply understanding of audit risks and methodology in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) to provide forensic view of client’s scenarios.
Contribute to projects by leveraging past forensic experience.
Prepare detailed reports and recommendations.
Requirements of the RoleCompleted bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, law, or a related field.
ACCA or CPA certification is preferred; relevant experience in audits is essential.
The role requires a minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated background in forensic accounting and/or investigations is highly advantageous.
Experience working on projects where forensic professionals supported audit teams is appreciated.
Understanding audit risks and methodology (ISA) is crucial.
Fluency in English is a must; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Strong professional communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
Proficient computer skills (working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
