To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com (https://www.cibc.com/en/about-cibc.html) **What you’ll be doing** Reporting to the Director, Indirect Auto and Business Banking Lending, The Risk Analytics Senior Consultant contributes to the profitable growth of Indirect Auto and Business Banking portfolios by providing strategic and analytical leadership to develop effective acquisition and account management credit risk strategies required to optimize the risk/reward tradeoff for new and existing accounts. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote._ **How you’ll succeed** + **Risk Strategy Development.** You will lead complex analytics and data processes to support the development and execution of proposals/business case for acquisition and account management strategy, credit-policy, system, or rule changes that will optimize the portfolio risk reward trade-off. + **Innovation.** You will exercise strategic vision to drive innovation and process enhancement efforts, targeting key operational pain points with focus on resolution and efficient resource utilization. You will continuously challenge and improve risk strategy through analysis of customer behavior data and sophisticated statistical/data mining techniques. + **Relationship Building.** Forge collaborative partnership with stakeholders by leading initiatives and identifying strategic opportunities to enable profitable growth, reduce exposure and adapt to changing market conditions, while operating within overall risk appetite. + **People Development and Strong Communication.** You have well developed leadership capability with the ability to inspire teams to reach great heights of performance. Oversee the strategy monitoring framework and improve impact assessment methodologies to allow for better and more informed decisions.
