Utilizing your relationship building skills, you will partner with line of business and technology teams and help them proactively identify potential areas for oversight and present recommendations that are practical and achievable. The primary focus of this role will be building, maintaining and owning CIBC's human and non-human privilege access capabilities. This will involve standing up new products and integrations, working with your peers to configure & promote changes to production, dynamically create, revoke, and rotate secrets programmatically and more. You will also get an opportunity to automate and improve multiple processes. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role._ _You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote._ **How You’ll Succeed** + **Consulting -** Review and interpret requirements documentation, architecture diagrams and solution designs to help determine the feasibility of a project and its impact to CIBC’s secrets management solution. Assess business needs against potential risks and provide your recommendations to enhance our information security landscape. + **Delivery and Execution –** You will help us build, configure and deploy our privilege and non-privilege solutions, with an emphasis on dynamic secrets, human privilege, automation and agentic AI. Planning, coordinating and implementing infrastructure upgrades and properly forecasting growth will also be an important requirement of this position. + **Communication -** Build and present documentation to executive management aimed at communicating technical challenges, architecture designs, potential risks and providing solutions via articulated recommendations. Provide feedback to and participate in the design and implementation of security infrastructure across the organization. Research, design, and implement security infrastructure related processes and operationalize these processes across the group. **Who You Are** + **You can demonstrate 3-5 years of experience in** Information Security, Threat-risk assessments, Vulnerability Management Lifecycle, and application currency initiatives. Familiarity with enterprise change management processes, Cloud Computing technologies, Exposure to Agile Development processes, QA code promotion processes and a CISSP certification is an asset. Troubleshooting complex issues and communicating a path to resolution will be an important skillset of a successful applicant. + **You have strong knowledge of** a broad set of technology solutions with focus on Ansible, Windows, Unix, Linux, BIG IP, and Azure. Having a history as a developer with experience in various coding languages such as PowerShell, Python, C# and JavaScript will be beneficial to the role.
