Position Purpose:
The Senior Organizational Effectiveness (OE) Consultant – Assessments serves as an internal expert in the design, validation, implementation, and management of employee assessments for both selection and development. As a key member of the OE Assessment Team, this role partners with HR peers and business leaders to design, develop, and deploy innovative, practical, legally defensible, data-driven assessment solutions aligned with organizational talent strategies. Responsibilities include leading large-scale and high-impact assessment programs and projects, conducting job, skill, and competency analyses and application, designing and administering surveys, and leveraging advanced statistical analyses. The consultant stays at the forefront of the evolving assessment landscape—including changes and advancements in areas such as generative AI, skills, and employment law—to ensure tools and practices remain effective, equitable, and compliant. This role combines assessment expertise and applied research with strategic consulting to enhance workforce decision-making and drive organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
50% - Assessment Design, Development & Research: Designing, validating, and managing selection and development assessments; conducting job, skill and competency analyses and application, and leveraging advanced statistical analysis.
25% - Consulting & Stakeholder Collaboration: Partnering with HR and business leaders to understand and consult on talent needs, present practical, data-driven recommendations, and influence assessment strategy.
25% - Project Management & Administration: Building and managing program and project timelines, coordinating cross-functional projects, staying up to date on legal/compliance trends (e.g., AI, employment law), and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

This position reports to Manager or Senior Manager of Organizational Effectiveness.

Travel Requirements:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
4+ years of work experience in the development, validation, and management of employee selection and development assessments.
Knowledge of and experience with applied assessment solutions, evidence-based psychometric testing approaches and employment law.
Ability to lead, plan and manage multiple complex assessment and related projects concurrently.
Ability to build relationships and consult with internal customers on selection and developmental assessment needs.
Ability to negotiate, answer questions, and resolve issues with both internal and external partners.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills across all organizational functions and levels.
Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
Working knowledge of advanced statistics and related software, such as SPSS and R.
Doctorate or master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, HR, behavioral measurement, or related field.
Minimum Education:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a master's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
