What You’ll Be Doing

Employee Technology Delivery and Adoption is on a mission to ignite and sustain employee satisfaction by advocating for improved workplace experiences through technology support strategies. The Senior Consultant, Employee Technology Services is responsible for providing management of transformational change and subject matter expertise towards various automation and continuous improvement initiatives in support of improved employee experiences. The role will support the ideation, delivery, and benefit tracking of 20-30 annual technology releases, involving data analysis, requirements documentation, partner meetings, and process change management adhering to EDF, while advancing CIBC’s transformation roadmap to meet the needs of incoming workforce and shift to a digital-first tech support model. The role collaborates with and advises senior management, utilizing a solid understanding of business planning to analyze inefficiencies within technology services, build a plan to support future fiscal savings initiatives, and ongoing benefits tracking. The Senior Consultant, Employee Technology Services provides technical leadership, leveraging a data driven story to simplify complex information while coordinating client, provider, and vendor relationships to meet and manage service expectations.

How You’ll Succeed

Strategic Leadership & Relationship Building: Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships across and beyond the technology team, providing leadership and influence without direct authority while developing long-term automation and optimization roadmaps.Project Oversight & Advisory: Guide project teams and stakeholders on technology planning, risk analysis, and performance, actively participating across the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to post-implementation reviews.Process Optimization & Communication: Identify and communicate improvement opportunities with supporting estimates and timelines; validate business and technical requirements, including current/future state analysis and gap identification.Team & Vendor Management: Lead by example to manage team performance, while fostering collaborative relationships with clients, vendors, and service providers, ensuring alignment on service expectations and effective issue resolution.
