The role provides technical leadership, interpreting complex business and technical information, and participating in client business review sessions to influence decisions regarding the use of technology to support corporate objectives. Develops, recommends, and facilitates activities required for the application of new technologies to support existing processes and client needs. The role provides expertise to business analysts, project managers, coordinators and directors on technology functionality and utilization, utilizing a solid understanding of technology and business dynamics and independently resolves a variety of ambiguous challenges with organization-wide impacts, devising new methods using strong analytic and inductive thinking. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview._ **How you'll succeed** + **Delivery of Business and Solution Requirements -** Work closely with business partners to gather/understand complex business requirements, elicit/document solution requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to meet project objectives. Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements. + **Leading and Mentoring** – Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to a diverse team of technology and project professionals. Maintain a collaborative work environment and support team members to resolve organizational, operational, and process problems. + **Solution Design –** Help build client-focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance. **Who you are** + **You can demonstrate 5+ years** experience in business systems analysis and solution design for Finance initiatives within the Financial Services sector. Skilled in requirements elicitation, code analysis, and documentation, you lead project implementations and design Finance Technology solutions. Excel at stakeholder management and communication, translating business needs for non-technical teams and technical details for IT and vendors. Strengths include data analysis, gap analysis, and hands-on expertise with relational databases and ETL tools. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Visio, and Office applications. Knowledge of financial and management accounting, regulatory reporting, and enterprise financial planning is an asset. + **It’s an asset if** you have hands on experience with SAP S/4HANA, Oracle PeopleSoft or other ERP systems; Oracle RDBMS, Microsoft SQL Server, SAP HANA or other relational database management systems; Informatica PowerCenter, Azure Databricks, SDI or other ETL tools; OBIEE/OAS, OAC, Cognos, SAC or other BI/analytics tools; or Oracle DRM, SAP MDG or other hierarchy / master data management solutions. + **You're digitally savvy.** You seek out innovative solutions and embrace evolving technologies.
