What you'll be doing

As a member of CIBC’s team, the Senior Consultant, Business Systems Analysis will be responsible for providing advice and consultation for business application developments to ensure growth. The role provides technical leadership, interpreting complex information and participating in client business review sessions to influence decisions regarding the use of technology to support objectives.

How you'll succeed

Understanding and Documenting Requirements: Primarily work with the Central Funding Desk, but since this is a cross-asset collateral management platform, there will be opportunities to work on other desks and asset classes. Work closely with business partners to gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure project needs are met. Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen, and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.Solution Design: Build client-focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance.Leading and Mentoring: Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert. Provide guidance to a diverse team of te       chnology and project professionals. Maintain a collaborative work environment and support team members to resolve organizational, operational, and process problems.

Who you are

You can demonstrate experience with: 3-4+ years in a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) or Business Systems Consultant (BSC) role, leading projects and designing solutions. Capital markets knowledge, with experience in collateral management processes and systems. Proficient with tools such as SQL, Excel pivot tables, Visio, and other Data Analysis tools and programs. You are killed in eliciting requirements and writing strong documentation and have excellent stakeholder management skills. You possess strong problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and expertise in analyzing and understanding data, including gap analysis.Tech-Savvy and Driven: You are passionate about technology and stay up to date with the latest tools and trends.
