Key project liaison with internal and external resources which include Design, Portfolio, Telecommunications, Security, Real Estate, Property Management, etc. to ensure the timely, cost effective, and efficient success of Branch and Corporate projects.
What You’ll Do:
Plan and implement strategies to ensure the successful and timely execution of all assigned projectsEstablish and implement overall project plan objectives, master project schedule, and financials, including project budget and works with the customer to ensure satisfactory delivery of the projectIdentify and source market resources for procurement of appropriate goods and servicesIdentify inefficiencies in processes and make adjustments to improve upon suchSource, vets, and select vendors and manage vendor activity and performance to ensure compliance with the overall objectives of the projects (project objectives, costs, standards, and schedules)Establish and manage the estimates, expenditure commitments of the project and monitors costs to ensure compliance with the approved budgetEnsure compliance with legal, regulatory, audit, safety, and environmental issuesTravel 35%Management Responsibilities:
Manage outside resources (architects, designers, construction firms, ) to achieve successful completion of the projectManage the project close-out process to ensure that closure occurs within Schwab compliance guidelines and industry standard practiceWe believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site four days per week in the specified locations.

Required Qualifications:
BA / BS in Architecture, Construction, or Engineering or equivalent experience10+ years of experience managing multiple projects, including experience in design, construction, or engineeringPractical knowledge and experience in at least one of these disciplines: design, construction or engineeringBroad knowledge and understanding of other real estate disciplines, including building systems, space planning, property management, etc.Strong project management skills, with emphasis on scheduling, budgeting, and prioritizingSound business knowledge to effectively interface with Schwab businesses and outside agenciesThorough working knowledge and ownership of the financial budget of a projectKnowledge of real estate law, regulations, and building codesEvident relationship management skillsExcellent negotiation and communication skillsAble to travel about 35%What’s in it for you
