Senior Construction Field Engineer
Jacobs is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Construction Field Engineer to support a complex design and construction management program involving wastewater treatment plant upgrades. This position plays a critical leadership role in field operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of construction activities in a dynamic and high-risk environment. As a Senior Construction Field Engineer, you will serve as a key liaison between the field team and project leadership. You will work with the Construction Manager to oversee contractor performance, guide junior field staff, and ensure consistent implementation of project plans, specifications, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols. Your ability to lead by example, adapt to changing site conditions, and maintain strong communication across stakeholders will be essential to project success. Key responsibilities * Managing and coordinating construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.  * Implementing and enforcing safety regulations, conducting toolbox talks, and promoting a safe work environment.  * Monitoring construction work, inspecting materials, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.  * Tracking project costs, identifying potential cost overruns, and managing project timelines.  * Communicating effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders, providing regular progress reports.  * Identifying and resolving construction-related issues, coordinating with other disciplines, and finding solutions to unforeseen challenges.  * Overseeing the work of contractors, ensuring compliance with contract terms, and managing subcontractor relationships.  * Maintaining accurate project records, including daily logs, inspection reports, and change orders.  * Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Construction Management, or related field). * Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred). * Significant experience in construction, typically 10+ years, with progressive responsibility. * Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment. * Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency in relevant software and tools. * Experience with safety regulations and quality control procedures.  We are seeking a proactive, team-oriented professional who demonstrates technical excellence, leadership, and a commitment to safety and quality.
