More details on our benefits can be found on our website at https://www.itw.com/careers/benefits-compensation/ The Senior Compensation Analyst supports the ITW Corporate Compensation function by administering the broad-based compensation programs, analyzing data and compensation trends, and providing compensation guidance to division and business unit HR professionals. RESPONSIBILITIES: + Coaches and assists HR professionals with how to administer the ITW compensation and job banding frameworks (ITW grading), interpreting market data and applying compensation best practices in their businesses. + Partners with the Workday team on the annual compensation planning process (merit, incentive & stock grants) in Workday, providing advice & analysis and resolving helpdesk tickets as necessary. + Coordinates ITW’s global survey submissions and prepares and reviews annual salary survey submissions. + Analyzes global survey results to prepare salary range and merit recommendations, by country. Manages updates of all ranges in the Workday platform. + Leads and/or supports enterprise-wide broad-based compensation projects. + Provides guidance and support to ITW businesses with local compensation initiatives. + Reviews and manages the ITW job catalog that supports the Job Banding system. + Maintains and updates various compensation related tools, documentation and resources utilized by field HR professionals. + Keeps content on the ITW HR Pro Resources Portal updated as necessary. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: + Requires a bachelor's degree. + 4 to 6 years of experience in all areas of broad-based compensation within a corporate environment is required + Strong analytical skills set with an understanding of financial concepts. + Advanced Excel skills (e.g., vlookups, pivot tables, nested formulas). + Strong project management and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities at the same time. + Ability to work onsite at the Glenview corporate campus 5 days a week, with flexibility in hours. + Experience working with Workday or similar HRIS system preferred. + Strong attention to detail (such as ability to spot exceptions while auditing vast sets of data), problem solving and troubleshooting skills required. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with customer service approach. **Compensation Information:** The compensation package for the role offers a competitive base salary ranging from $90K - $125k annually. This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan.
