Job Summary:
● Provide consultation and support regarding the strategy, design and implementation of communication assets including web pages, sites, emails, digital signage and other channel deliverables.
● Support the launch of new communication technologies through partnership with business partners to define requirements and technology teams to implement solutions.
● Develop training and self help resources to support the use of new and existing tools within our tech stack.
● Identify and promote channel best practices through industry research and testing strategies and documenting results.
Responsibilities:
● Become a SME for all technologies within our tech stack especially our email, intranet and digital signage tools.
● Stay current on platform releases, new features/functionality, common strategies and best practices for all channels and channel deliverables.
● Lead on projects as assigned creating timelines and tracking documents, scheduling and leading client meetings and sending follow ups and meeting recaps.
● Determine requirements and develop webpages, email templates, digital signage slides and other channel deliverables to meet the needs of our Internal Communications teams and their business partners.
● Participate in project meetings related to new technologies with business partners and technology teams advocating for communications best practices and the needs of Internal Communications teams.
● Guided by business requirements, research and compare different vendors/applications to determine pros and cons of each and make a recommendation on which best meets our needs.
● Working with impacted Internal Communication teams, solicit feedback on the configuration of new technologies and provide regular updates throughout the implementation.
● Partner with Channels Partners to understand training and resource needs for our IC teams to reference when using our channels technologies. Determine the best training formats and a holistic delivery method to make training easily accessible.
Complexity of Work:
● Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, project management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful, deadline driven and service oriented environment.
Education:
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.Additional Preferences 5 years of experience is preferred.
