Senior Communications Manager, AWS, Amazon Global Sales

The Internal Communications Manager partners with AGS Tech leadership to develop and execute strategic communications that connect teams to organizational priorities, drive transparency, lead complex communication initiatives across cross-functional teams and build a culture of engagement across the global AGS Tech organization. This role leverages AI tools and technologies to enhance communication effectiveness, scale content creation, and deliver personalized experiences to diverse technical audiences. Key job responsibilities * Partner with Tech leadership to develop and execute internal communications strategies aligned with organizational goals and strategic imperatives * Own channel strategy and operations for communicating to employees through a multi-channel approach * Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on communication strategy, providing guidance on messaging, timing, and approach * Build strong partnerships leaders and cross-functional teams * Provide employees with tools and guidance to produce their own internal communications * Guide teams on responsible and effective use of AI tools for communication Content Development & Execution * Write, edit, and produce high-quality communications including emails, newsletters, video scripts, presentation materials, and event briefs * Provide editorial support for executive communications, manager communications, and organization-wide announcements * Create content that authentically shares employees' stories, recognizes unique backgrounds, and strengthens team culture * Coordinate video support including storyboards, recording, and production; manage graphic design support for visual communications * Utilize generative AI tools to accelerate content creation, enhance personalization, and scale communication efforts while maintaining quality and authenticity * Ensure all AI-generated content is reviewed, refined, and aligned with brand voice and messaging standards The Ideal Candidate Experience: * 5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or related field * Proven ability to write clear, compelling content for technical audiences * Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines * Experience partnering with senior leadership and translating strategic priorities into communications * Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across all levels * Understanding of communication best practices, channels, and measurement approaches * Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance communication effectiveness and efficiency * Comfort with emerging technologies and willingness to experiment with new AI-powered communication approaches About the team The team creates and delivers accurate, concise, and effective messaging through a multi-channel approach to inform, celebrate, and engage audiences. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
