Purpose
The Senior Communications Business Partner will lead and supervise all the strategic communication initiatives to enhance the company's reputation and effectively convey key messages to diverse stakeholders, in particular interfacing with higher-risk external audiences such as client communications' teams or public and government affairs, media, joint venture, or partner organizations. This senior role involves overseeing complex communication projects, mentoring junior team members, and acting as a trusted advisor.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Communications Business Partner you are responsible for:
Understanding the business strategies for assigned scope and defining strategic communications plans in support of business goals and priorities.
Developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies to support the company's business objectives and enhance its public image
Creating content and reviewing press releases, executive speeches, annual reports, and other corporate communications
Supporting crisis communication efforts, by ensuring timely and appropriate responses to protect the company’s reputation and demonstrating the required flexibility for a global organization with operations 365 days per year
Role modeling, providing guidance, and supporting junior team members to enhance their skills and performance
Overseeing the planning and execution of major communication campaigns and events
Tracking and analyzing the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns
Analyzing communication metrics and feedback, making recommendations of strategies to continuously improve, and report on the impact of communication activities to the relevant Heads of Function
Providing guidance and support to business stakeholders on internal communication best practices
Maintaining the Group Communications planner to assure strategic and appropriate cadence of news and updates towards targeted audiences.
Education
Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism
Experience
7+ years of experience in a communications role, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership position
