The role requires full accountability of an experienced Tender Leader, to aid in the development of complex proposals for the supply of the full range of Baker Hughes Subsea Production Systems (SPS), often in complex EPCI integrated offerings spanning multiple Baker Hughes Product Companies and with the interface of external partners.

You must be a reliable partner to its peers and will be responsible for interaction with the Regional Leadership teams, Centre of Excellences (COEs) and HQ, beyond the day to day interface with Systems and Technologies Engineering and Costing teams to drive a consistent, optimised, system level strategy that has the Bid to Execute methodology at it’s core.
 

The Senior Commercial Tender Manager – Subsea Systems will be responsible for:

Anchoring our Bid to Win strategy with standard/ fit for purpose product offerings and execution strategies, providing the link from Regional teams to our COEs, coordinating all inputs to our proposals and gaining necessary approvals.Providing support to Product Line and help to shape a competitive execution strategy, with ownership of Bid to Execute process governance.Driving Costing & Engineering teams for all relevant Product Line inputs to a pursuit, ensuring alignment to tender requirements and bidding strategy are met.Identifying risks and opportunities, developing mitigation strategies and interacting with key stakeholders as required to ensure they are adequately socialised and managed.Managing all commercial matters that could influence the bid strategy and support the Sales and Commercial Leadership team in delivering the proposal in accordance with the agreed strategy.Understanding customer drivers and tender requirements and translate those into actionable and winning opportunity strategies.Driving and taking the lead with engineering, sourcing, supply chain, planning, costing teams and any other stakeholders internally and externally to coordinate the preparation of detailed offerings, ensuring it is aligned to the agreed Bid to Win strategy and customer requirements.

To be successful in this role you will:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.Have at least 8 years of experience in Proposals, in Subsea is preferable.Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems.Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
