Role: Senior Commercial Sales Engineer
Location: Dadar, Mumbai

Role Description:
The Senior Commercial Sales Engineer is responsible for managing the end-to-end commercial sales cycle, including customer acquisition, business development, tender management, and closing high-value contracts. The role demands close coordination with internal teams and clients, ensuring commercial and contractual compliance throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify and convert new business opportunities in precision cooling and climate control.

Build relationships with consultants, EPC contractors, and developers to position offerings effectively.

Lead customer meetings, proposals, and commercial negotiations.

Analyze tender documents and prepare compliant commercial bids.

Negotiate and review contract terms including LD clauses, payment terms, warranties, and bank guarantees.

Serve as the commercial point of contact during order execution and resolve related escalations.

Ensure timely invoicing, payment collections, and contractual deliverables.

Maintain sales pipeline records and prepare commercial reports.

Ensure strict compliance with internal controls and commercial policies.

Key Skills:
Strong understanding of contractual terms, risk mitigation, and financial instruments like BGs and PBGs.

Proven experience in tendering and contract management in both private and government sectors.

Effective communicator with strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.

Attention to detail with strong analytical and documentation skills.

Hands-on experience with MS Office; exposure to CRM/ERP systems is a plus.

Qualifications:
Engineering degree (Mechanical/Electrical preferred); MBA or commercial education is an advantage.

Minimum 6 years of experience in commercial sales or contract management within HVAC, capital equipment, or industrial engineering industries.

Proven ability to manage large-value tenders and contracts independently.

Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.

Up-to-date awareness of legal and statutory changes affecting commercial sales.
