Senior Combat Systems Engineer
**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Senior Combat Systems Engineer** to join our team working in **Dahlgren, VA.** This is a **hybrid, part-time** position requiring 2 days a week onsite, 20 hours per week. In this role, you will support strategic planning for land-based test site capabilities. This position is crucial for planning, activating, and sustaining site capabilities to meet critical certification milestones. **Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Support the Government AEGIS Land Based Test Sites Manager in developing and implementing long range strategic goals to streamline the combat systems test and certification process + Support the implementation of a distributive test environment and seamless data transfer between testing sites + Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders and customers to gather, validate, and coordinate tasks + Prepare and coordinate inputs for status reports, briefings, and information inquiries + Provide quality technical leadership and produce deliverables and other products with a high degree of accuracy **Minimum Qualifications:** + 10+ years of engineering experience with Navy combat systems + Master’s degree in a technical discipline or a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 15+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of Master's degree **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience working with development and testing of Navy surface ship combat systems at land-based test sites + Experience leading programmatic meetings with internal and external stakeholders and program monthly reviews **Clearance Requirements:** + Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active or current Secret Security Clearance **Physical Requirements:** + The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. + Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
