Job Responsibilities\n\nProgram CNC mills using Camworks.\nMust also be able to program and operate one or more of the following Specialty machines: CNC Grinder, CNC High Speed Mills or Wire EDM.\nMust be capable and willing to train other machinists, showing them the proper way to use common shop Machine tools and inspection equipment\nSet up and operate various types of machine tools such as lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders, etc., selecting proper feeds and speeds\nWork from drawings, sketches, specifications, and verbal instructions to make parts.\nReading complex prints, designs, able to transfer in and out of CNC machines\nMust be able to read G & M code. \nMakes fixtures for machines\nPerform hand operations such as filing, fitting, tapping, etc.\n\n
Job Requirements:\n\nHigh School Diploma, or equivalent\n10+ years' experience in a machine shop is required\nExperience with 3-axis milling is required\n5+ years CNC mill programming experience\nExperience with CAMWorks and SolidWorks or equivalent CAM and CAD software is required\nExperience with 5-axis milling is preferred\nEDM experience preferred\nKnowledge of precision measuring devices\nWork to close tolerances\nThe ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and sketches\nAdvanced shop mathematics skills\nBroad knowledge of machine shop practices \nProven mechanical aptitude\n\n
